COVID-19 UPDATE

This pandemic is disproportionately affecting the youth and families we serve, therefore we have decided that beginning in March 2020, funding raised during COVID-19 will be donated directly to our youth so that they can help support their households.

In addition, in response to students being out of school, EYEJ will also be launching two new programs for 6th-8th grade youth.

Your donation will go towards:

  • The EYEJ Youth Council and their families, to cover household costs for bills, healthcare, food, and more.
  • Deployment of two new programs in which technology and online instructional infrastructure, needed to deliver learning programs while youth remain sheltered in place.

Q. Is my donation secure?

A. Absolutely. The security and confidentiality of your information is our highest priority. We use PayPal, Stripe and GiveLively to collect our donations online. We will not sell, trade, or share your personal information with anyone else, nor send donor mailings on behalf of other organizations.

Q. Is my donation tax-deductible?

A. Yes. EYEJ: Empowering Youth, Exploring Justice is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization and your donation is tax-deductible within the guidelines of U.S. law. To claim a donation as a deduction on your U.S. taxes, please keep your email donation receipt as your official record.

Q. Do I get a receipt?

A. A donation receipt will be sent to you directly from the platform in which you pay. Please be sure to keep a copy of your receipt for tax purposes. If you select a recurring donation, you will be sent an individual receipt each month when your donation is processed. We’ll send it to you upon successful completion of your donation and a formal tax letter via US mail for donations over $250.
