Dear Cleveland,

In conventions and meetings all over the city, there are many adults who speak to others about ideas and topics that they are passionate about. As a junior in high school, I feel as if teens in the community can contribute greatly to these conversations. Listening to others around me in the Look Up to Cleveland program, I hear fellow members come up with ideas and make points that are as creative and intelligent as any adult out there.

My point all this is that more and more youth need to be involved in conversations throughout the city of Cleveland. We bring a perspective that is necessary to the evolution and betterment of the city. Organizations like Look Up to Cleveland are great ways to help youth voice their ideas and opinions. We need more of this!

Sincerely,

Jacob
