Dear Cleveland,

For the past couple of years, I have been working with the impoverished and homeless who live within your boundaries. In many ways, you have lacked serious ways to help to quell this issue to a minimal level. This issue isn’t an easy one to fix, but measures should be taken to give back the status to them as HUMANS and not “sums” or “losers.”

Just a week ago, one homeless man named Jason told me how he received a ticket by a police officer for just sitting down to eat in a public park, and the officer promptly told him to get a job. I urge you to not only improve these peoples’ living conditions, but also try to remove this deep prejudice that is found in the hearts of your legislators and other public servants. I want this and I want it done now!

Sincerely,

Danny
